Silver Dipped Die Cuts

Hope everyone in Canada enjoyed their Thanksgiving weekend. Great food, beautiful weather and family time - can't get any better than that.

I decided to play along with PTI's Make It Monday this week. You can check out Danielle Flanders video here on adding dipped die cuts to your project. I dipped my die cuts in  silver and used the latest sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch for my card design.

I stamped some white CS with Polka Dot Basics and die cut my snowflakes from that as well as vellum. I dipped the edges of my snowflakes in silver embossing powder and layered these over the vellum snowflakes - you can see the vellum a little better in the closeup. The sentiment is from Tremendous Treats Christmas which I also embossed in silver.

Supplies:
Stamps - Tremendous Treats Christmas, Polka Dot Basics (PTI)
Dies - Fancy Flakes (PTI)
Paper - Neena Solar White CS, Everyday Moments (Teresa Collins), Vellum
Ink - Sky (CTMH), Versa Mark, silver EP

Other - Silver Glitter strip

  3. Pretty! I love silver too, some of my projects for tomorrow use silver instead of gold. Both shiny enough for me! Ha!
