Papertrey Ink January Blog Hop - Pretty In Pink Birthday



The January Papertrey Ink Blog Hop is all about 'pink' - use the colour pink only or paired with neutrals. The hardest part about this challenge was narrowing down the many possibilities.  I used the current sketch #91 at the Cardabilities challenge blog.

 

For this card I used some pink prints from Teresa Collins' Summer Stories collection and a number of PTI dies and stamp sets. I stamped the background piece with some sentiments from Movers & Shakers, splattered some pink re-inker and stitched around the outside edge. I then layered the other die cuts and the sentiment stamped on vellum.

    You've melded so many elements and details to create a gorgeous card. I particularly like how the clock face delicately sets off the flowers. And the vellum sentiment strip is perfect.
