Good Morning everyone and welcome to 2014! It's starting out a pretty cold one, a good time to stay indoors and craft. This week's Make It Monday challenge at Papertrey Ink is being hosted by Ashley. Check out her video tutorial here on how to use your scraps to create angled backgrounds. I chose to make my angled piece more of a focal point than a background.
I glued my scraps to a 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" piece of cardstock. After trimming the edges I adhered it to another piece of white CS just slightly larger. Using this piece as a guide I stamped my sentiment and stars onto my card base. I wrapped the center piece with baker's twine and a vellum star, popped it with 3D foam, added some pearls coloured with a copic and your done.
Supplies: Card size is 5" x 5"
Stamps - Stylish Sentiments: Birthday (PTI)
Paper - Neenal Solar White CS, Everyday Moments (Teresa Collins), Good Times (SU), vellum
Ink - Outdoor Denim (CTMH), YR07 Copic
Other - Seeing Stars Die (PTI), baker's twine (MayArts), pearls (CTMH), 3D foam
