Papertrey Ink September Blog Hop - Chalkboard Technique

Good Morning! Today I have a card for Papertrey Ink's September Blog Hop which you can find here. The challenge is to use the chalkboard technique and the inspiration photo below.


I am not really happy with my results but I have run out of time to try again. So here it is:


Supplies:
Stamps - The Sweet Life, Movers & Shakers Sentiments, Inside & Out - Well Wishes, Stacked Sentiments, Wonderful Words: Birthday (PTI)
Paper - Fine Linen CS, Terracota Tile CS, True Black CS (PTI)
Ink - Fine Linen (PTI), Sorbet (CTMH), Versa Mark, White EP, White pencil, White Pigment ink
Other - twine, wood stars

    Connie are you kidding, this is fabulous! I love how you put the sentiments together on your chalkboard and the background is perfect!! The twine and stars are sweet finishing touches too. I'll be happy to send you my address... ;0)

    Oh, Connie! I really like you card. Beautifully done. You make me want to make another one and CASE yours. You could probably play this over at AAA Cards Autumn Colors challenge too. :)

    You should be proud, this is really stunning...your background really draws your eyes into the center where the sentiment is...and then you white embossed the same leaves...simply awesome!!

    I think this is just beautiful Connie. Sometimes we are our own worst critics! I love your background, and the chalkboard/ sentiment part goes beautifully with it! I really love the little wooden stars and twine too...perfect additions! :0)
