Oh what fun! The challenge for today at the continuing celebrations for Papertrey Ink's anniversary is to build your project using the various building blocks listed on each designer's blog. Roll the dice to select your numbered item from each list. Here is what I came up with - would love to play again but am heading out of town shortly so this is it.
Here is the list of building blocks I ended up with:
Ashley - A color - Harvest Gold
Betsy - A color - Orange Zest
Cristina - A color - Aqua Mist
Danielle - A neutral - White
Dawn - A sketch - Sketch #5
Erin - A theme - Birthday
Heather - A technique - Watercolor
Laura - An embellishment - Rhinestones
Melissa - A fiber - Seam binding
I die cut water colour paper with the spiral notebook die. Stamped the image from mini blooms with versa mark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I then used a water brush and blue re-inker to water colour around the blooms.
Supplies:
Stamps - Mini Bloom, Boutique Borders: Birthday
Paper - Whisper White CS (SU), Heavenly Blue CS, Creme Brulee CS (CTMH), water color paper
Ink - Versa Mark, White EP, Heavenly Blue, Creme Brulee, Sunset inks (CTMH)
Other - Mini Blooms Dies, Spiral Notebook Die (PTI), A2 Matting Basics A die (Spellbinders), May Arts seam binding (dyed with Sunset reinker), rhinestone brad, rhinestones, water brush
Tough colors but you did a great job!!
