Happy Mother's Day to all. I didn't think that I would get a chance to finish and post this card today. I have a very dear friend who is going through a difficult time and I wanted to make a special card for her. I was happy to be able to combine it with this week's
Mojo Monday sketch which is also a contest week. The paper I used - 'Wings' - is one of my favourites from Close To My Heart's current catalogue. I have also been playing with different colours of ribbon to make some more multi-petalled ribbon flowers. You can find instructions
here on how to make them.
Supplies - All supplies are CTMH except where noted. Card size is 5" x 7"
Paper - Wings, Black and Colonial White cardstock
Stamp - Find Your Style
Ink - Black, Garden Green
Accessories - Cranberry Waxy Flax, Pretty Pins (retired), Pearl Opaques, Designer Shimmer brad, 3/8" black satin ribbon (fabric store, 1" Burgandy satin ribbon (fabric store), black eyelets (unknown)
Other - Martha Stewart border punch, Spellbinders Labels 10, needle, thread, glue gun
