Baby Girl Card With Pink Organdy Flowers

I just loved the pastel flowers that I created using CTMH organdy ribbon (see video tutorial here) and couldn't wait to make a card using them. I think that these flowers would work really well on baby cards or layouts, shower invitations, princess or ballerina layouts (they remind of tutus) etc.

Paper - White Daisy cardstock (CTMH), Pink cardstock (Bazzill)
Stamps - Sweet Baby C1359 (CTMH)
Ink - Baby Pink (CTMH)

Other - Hearts Embossing folder (Bringing Crafts Too You), border punch (Martha Stewart), liquid glass (CTMH), glue dots, 3D foam, needle, thread

Layered Organdy Ribbon Flower

In this video I mistakenly say that you need 15" of ribbon, you actually need 18"

Birthday Card With Layered Organdy Ribbon Flower - Mojo Monday 183

For this weeks Mojo Monday sketch I have made a birthday card for a dear friend of mine. I used some new designer paper from Prima and created a hand made organdy flower with a center made from a Close To My Heart designer brad and pearls. I have created a video for how to make these cute little flowers, please see my next post.

Please Note : in my video I mistakenly say that you need 15" of organdy ribbon when you actually need 18", I do say the correct length later but just wanted to clear that up in case there is any confusion.

Here is another closeup of the flower -

Mojo Monday #181 - Live Inspired Stamp Set

The first Monday of every month is a Mojo Monday contest. For this card I used some Basic Grey designer paper and a leaf embossed cardstock that I won at a crop (it's difficult to see the embossed pattern in the picutures). I added some hand made ribbon rose buds to pick up on the subtle blue in the pattern and coloured the clear crystal flourishes with my Black Copic marker.

Supplies - Card size is 7" x 5"

Paper - Basic Grey designer paper, Green leaf embossed cardstock (unknown), Black cardstock (Bazzill), Colonial White cardstock (CTMH)
Stamps - Live Inspired - C1408 (CTMH)
Inks- Memento - Tuxedo Black, Olive (CTMH)
Accessories - 5/8" black satin ribbon (Offray), fine wire, 3/8" Heavenly Blue ribbon (CTMH), Fairytale rose (Prima), Crystal flourishes (Prima), Blue floss (DMC)
Other - Spellbinders - plain circle and scalloped circle, border punch (Martha Stewart), piercing tool kit, needle, thread
